Growth feels chaotic when you do everything at once. It feels simple when you do the right thing in the right order. Here is the 90-day roadmap I run for local businesses.
Weeks 1–2: Audit & baseline
Audit the Google Business Profile, website, citations, reviews, and the top 3 competitors. Install tracking and record a baseline rank grid so every future gain is measurable.
Weeks 3–4: Foundation fixes
Rebuild the GBP, clean up NAP everywhere, rewrite on-page content, add schema, and wire up Search Console.
Weeks 5–8: Content & authority
Publish city and service pages, build citations, switch on the review engine, and pursue local links.
Weeks 9–12: Rank & refine
Re-run the rank grid weekly. Double down on what is moving, rewrite what is not, and expand into nearby service areas.
Ongoing: Compound growth
Monthly posts, fresh content, new reviews, and continuous link acquisition keep you locked into the map pack. Follow the sequence and growth stops being a mystery.
